Your New Home
My current mixed media film in production is about a space postal worker and her dog who long for a home of their own. On one delivery, they find what they may have been looking for in the most unlikely place. The inside of an Eldritch Being.
Inspired by stories such as Fantastic Planet (1973), The Abyss (1989), and Piranesi by Susanne Clarke
Your New Home incorporates paper puppets, watercolor backgrounds, sand animation, and claymation all as a way to capture the alien location and creatures. Each medium has a strength to their storytelling and this film is a way to lean into those strengths.
